Delta Dental of Indiana ranked 2nd fastest growing ancillary benefit carrier

Indianapolis, Indiana —Delta Dental of Indiana was recently ranked the second fastest growing ancillary benefit carrier in the U.S. by Employee Benefit Adviser, in partnership with business intelligence data analytics firm miEdge.

The annual listing ranks the top 13 companies, based on year over year growth.

Delta Dental of Indiana had growth from 2016 to 2017 of $17.4 million or 37 percent.

“This ranking acknowledges our commitment to excellence and providing our clients with the very best dental benefits the industry has to offer,” said JJ Nelson, Director of Sales and Account Management for Delta Dental of Indiana.

Employers with 100 or more employees are required to file a Form 5500 Government Disclosure which shows what benefit plans are offered to employees. miEdge takes the data, applies business logic and algorithms to provide insights with one of them being year over year growth rate, said miEdge CEO Mark Smith.

“Any insurance company that appears on this list must be winning new customers which means they are competitively priced and their networks and claims are superior to people they compete with,” Smith said.
